EnergyMobile Studios is an Ottawa-based company devoted to building smart, functional, beautiful apps that simplify and save energy. Founded by energy geek, Tim Johnson, in 2011, EnergyMobile uses emerging mobile technologies to raise awareness and increase energy literacy.

Tim Johnson (Founder & CEO)
With EnergyMobile, Tim combines his two biggest passions: energy conservation and technology. He sets our direction and strategy along with the team and advisors. Tim is also the company barista.
Suzan Hill (Creative Director)
Sue’s design skills can be seen in all of our products, branding and marketing efforts. She makes our products beautiful, functional and keeps the human aspect of what we do in check.
Patrick McMahon (Dir. Products & Community)
An economics grad, NRCan ENERGY STAR Certified Energy Advisor and real world experience consulting in over 3,000 Canadian homes, Patrick keeps our products accurate, insightful and engaging.
Annie Duchesne (Dir. Research)
Annie double majored in biology and journalism with a minor in music to boot. All that right and left brain talent works wonders at keeping EnergyMobile’s research precise and on-topic.
Darren Peacock (Sr. Mobile Architect)
Darren is our talented lead mobile architect. We just love his precise code. While the rest of us scratch our heads, Darren always finds the right solution and implements it properly the first time.
